Ranking Skins
From the Fire Serpent to the Wild Lotus, here is the editorial AK-47 shortlist CSGO Top considers canonical in 2026. Ranked on visual quality, pattern variance, and demand depth — not on expected value. CS2 lighting still punishes high-wear wood and metal harder than most rifles, which is why float sits in the methodology instead of as a footnote. Ranking Gloves
Gloves are the other half of a knife. A Fade karambit on scarred default hands is an unfinished loadout; a $400 knife on clean Vice is often the better picture. This list ranks glove *finishes* on how they read in CS2 (knuckles first — that is where wear lives), how they pair with the knife ranking, and whether a typical Field-Tested copy is still the same product as the Factory New screenshot. Sport and Specialist still own the prestige tier. Driver and Moto are where most people should actually start. There is no StatTrak glove. Prices are editorial ranges for playable mid-float pairs and will drift. This is not an investment note. Knife models and finishes are ranked separately.

The silenced CT rifle is the second skin slot after the AK and the AWP: you see it every CT round, and the finish has to survive a long first-person view. This list is a play ranking with collector rows called out. Printstream stays #1 because it is the loadout default — black/white, pairs with almost any knife, still looks like itself in Field-Tested. Knight, Hot Rod, Blue Phosphor, and Imminent Danger are better trophies and worse 'I bought a rifle to use.' Welcome to the Jungle and Icarus Fell are the operation/collection art picks. Hyper Beast and Cyrex are the case coverts you can actually finish buying. Prices are editorial mid-float, non-StatTrak, non-souvenir ranges and will drift. Not an investment note. The matching pistol is on the USP-S ranking (Printstream is a family).

CS2 case odds are the published probabilities for each rarity tier when opening a Valve case. Valve publishes the rates per tier, but the per-skin distribution within a tier is uniform. The knife/glove rate is the most-cited number; the mid-tier rates dominate the actual outcome distribution.
A float value is a number between 0 and 1 attached to every CS2 skin instance, controlling how visibly worn the finish appears. Two skins with the same name and pattern can look meaningfully different at low vs high float. Float values are immutable for the lifetime of the skin instance.
Knife rarity in CS2 is a layered concept — case rarity (which case the knife came from), finish rarity (uncommon vs common finishes within that knife's pool), and pattern rarity (specific pattern indexes that produce desirable visual results). The 0.26% case-opening rate is the entry point; everything beyond that is pool composition and pattern.
CS2 stickers are cosmetic decals applied to weapon skins. They come in four base finishes (paper, holographic, foil, gold) plus a small number of historical variants. Major-tournament stickers from past CS:GO events behave as collector assets; modern stickers behave as cosmetic loadout pieces.
